Join Your Classmates and Help Current Students

As we prepare to celebrate the anniversary of our graduation 50 years ago, we each have an opportunity to reflect on our own Pacific experience. We developed lifelong friendships and cherished mentors because of the individualized education and small class sizes that were, and still are, Pacific hallmarks. Many of us believe that Pacific played a significant role in our lives and helped us develop into who we are today.

As alumni and friends of this wonderful university, we have an opportunity to build a foundation for tomorrow’s leaders. We can come together as a class and show Pacific students that we want to make a difference by investing in their education, just as others did for many of us. To honor this milestone event, the Reunion Committee has set a fundraising goal for a Class of 1967 Endowed Scholarship.

In October 2013, Pacific announced a transformational gift of $125 million from the estate of Robert and Jeannette Powell. The Powells did not graduate from college, but served on the Pacific Board of Regents for many years. They believed deeply in the value of a Pacific education, and a portion of their gift has been designated to fund a matching campaign for endowed scholarships to aid deserving Pacific students.

Gifts to the Class of 1967 Endowed Scholarship will be matched by the Powell Fund when we reach our $50,000 goal! The Class of 1967 will be remembered each year when the earnings from our endowment are awarded to talented Pacific students. We cannot think of a better way to honor our 50th Reunion and show Pacific Pride than to share in giving the gift of education to the more than 87% of worthy student scholars who receive some form of financial aid.
